Hi there!
My name is Tom Ashfield and I am a real estate photographer based in Cape Town, Western Cape.
I matriculated in 2021 from St Stithian's Boy's College in Johannesburg, after which I moved to Cape Town to pursue my studies at the University of Cape Town (UCT), where I am in my third and final year of undergrad, studying a BSc In Property Studies.
I have been exposed to photography all my life, but took a real interest to it during COVID-19 where I started shooting residential showcasing videos. From that point onwards, I started to love the process of capturing a spaces beauty, and found it very rewarding. I subsequently decided to start a business out of it when I moved to Cape Town 3 years ago.
My studies at UCT have immersed me into the real estate sector of Cape Town and as a result has developed my appreciation and eye for interesting architecture and real estate, making the photography of property come more naturally to me.
I love to travel and have been privileged enough to have visited many beautiful countries around the world, and spend my time hiking, cycling, and of course, taking photos!
